32ft Linked Cabin

Category:

Large unit created by linking two 32ftx10ft cabins together. Together this large 32ftx20ft open plan cabin is ideal for building sites or offices that have a large number of workers. Firstly with this unit our CAD team created technical drawings for the customer showing various layouts and how we intended to link them together. When a design was agreed it was put into fabrication and the steel shells where made following this it went into our paint shop where the units were painted RED and internally we Graffothermed the walls and ceiling (Graffotherm is an anti-condensation prevention treatment). Following the paint shop they was lined in multipro boards and insulated all around including the floor with 80mm PIR insulation. We fitted hard-wearing polyfloor throughout. The last step at our depot was to fit the UPVC windows and put electrics in throughout including heating, sockets and lighting, as well as fitting the large kitchen. Next we sent a team along with the cabins to site where a fabricator welded the units together and joiner finished the internal lineout where the join is shown inside. Then finally our electrician linked the cables together enabling the two units to work from the same distribution board. The photos shown in this case study are before the units were delivered to site this is why you can see the unfinished lineout where the link is.
