20ftx8ftx8ft6” shipping container workshop / store. This unit was to be used by a customer who needed a small workshop for working on car and motorbike parts. So they asked us for a small 15ft workshop and a small storage space in the same unit. The unit was Plywood lined throughout over a CLS timber frame and infilled with insulation. The container flooring was overlaid in aluminium chequer plate giving it that workshop feel and making it look the part. The flooring offers a hard-wearing surface and will easily withstand things such as grinding sparks. The unit was also fitted with electrics LED strip lights, socket outlets and heating. We kept the cargo doors in situ so large items such as car bumpers could access the workshop easily. A steel personnel door was added to access the store which was totally partitioned off from the workshop as the customer was keeping paper work and files in there. Finally the unit was painted in hard wearing container paint.
