Large workshop built for a local demolition company using two new 20ft shipping containers linked together to become a 20ft x 16ft unit on their site in Manchester. We removed the cargo doors and replaced them with corrugated container wall panels. Next, we created a large opening and installed a large electrically operated roller shutter. A steel personnel door was also fitted for quick access. Internally we full insulated the containers and lined them in plywood. Electrics where fitted throughout with LED strip lights, double sockets, and heaters. Externally painted customers choice of colour in anticorrosive container paint. Finally, the Universal team arranged transport of the containers to site and went there to weld the units together. This is an excellent solution for a workshop space as there is plenty of room internally for maneuvering larger items.
