The client required a dedicated garden-based office to create a quiet, comfortable workspace away from the main house, without compromising on light, usability, or year-round comfort. 

The Challenge

The primary challenge was site access. The client’s back garden had limited clearance, meaning the container delivery and positioning had to be carefully planned to avoid obstruction or damage to surrounding areas.

We worked closely with the client during the design stage to maximise natural light and usability. Window and door positions were carefully planned, while electrical sockets and heating were strategically located to suit the desk layout and ensure efficient heat distribution throughout the space. 

The Solution

With extensive experience delivering garden office container conversions, we were able to confidently specify a compliant, practical setup tailored for everyday use. 

The completed specification included: 

• Black uPVC double doors for front access 
• Large, top-hinged glazed windows to maximise natural light 
• Integrated heater, LED lighting, and multiple electrical sockets 
• Oak-effect laminate flooring for a warm, modern finish
