Shipping Container Stacking Cone BC-A3
A shipping container stacking cone (model BC‑A3 2641) is a sturdy conical fitting, made of forged, hot dip galvanized steel, used between stacked ISO containers to guide and secure them during transport. Unlike twist locks, it doesn’t lock containers rigidly, instead, it aligns the lower corners of the upper container with the ones beneath, enabling shear force transfer and preventing horizontal movement.
Application:
Used to stabilize containers stacked on top of one another.
